FlashAlert is a messaging system that the Sherwood School District uses to send timely alerts to subscribers for inclement weather closures and other emergencies. We will be conducting a test of the alert system on Thursday, October 30th, at 2:00 p.m. If you are an active subscriber, the alert will automatically be sent to your selected delivery preference (phone and/or email) with clear indication that it is only a test. If you do not receive a test alert at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, you are not an active subscriber and may not receive future alerts from the District during a real event. To create or renew your free subscription, you can visit FlashAlert.net at any time to create an account with an email address. It is recommended that you download the FlashAlert app if you have a smart phone, which will ensure you receive full text of emergency notifications, as some cellular providers limit characters or may delay delivery of alerts due to service area limitations.
