  • Student Conferences

Student conferences will be held on October 25th & 26th.  If you would like to check in with your student(s) teachers, please plan to attend arena style conferences Thursday, October 24th, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. or Friday, October 25th from 8:00 to 12:00 p.m.  Teachers will be available at stations in the gyms and cafeteria during that time to meet with parents.

Student Success Act:  As you know, the Student Success Act was signed into law this past May and will provide additional state funds to Oregon schools.  The funds will be allocated to Oregon schools in four specific areas ranging from reducing class sizes to student health and safety. If you would like to learn more about the act, SMS Administrators will be presenting this information to parents during conferences on Thursday, October 24th, from 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.  You will also have an opportunity to provide input via a short survey at the end of each presentation.
