· This past week, SMS held its first National
Geographic Geography Bee. The top scorers
in each Social Studies class came together to compete with each other. Questions were asked, with each student
receiving a point for a correct answer.
After multiple rounds, it came down to a tie breaker. 8th grader Alexandre Lesieutre won
the Bee with Cohen Brandl taking second place.
Congratulations to both students.
We wish Alexandre well as he moves on in the competition.
